Iowa City Lead Reduction Program
The City has created a Lead Reduction Program to provide residents with more information about their home's plumbing and drinking water lead exposure risk. The program has three components: a ban on repairing broken lead water pipes, an optional insurance program for service pipes and plumbing through Service Line Warranties of America, and a cost-share program.
