2018 Preucil School of Music Orchestra Festival
The Preucil School of Music presents its 2018 Orchestra Festival concert, held at City High's Opstad Auditorium. The program features performances by Preucil students in the Opus Orchestra, Concert Orchestra, and String Orchestra.
The orchestra program at the Preucil School is an essential companion to the weekly lesson, expanding the technical, reading, and musical skills developed in the lesson. It is designed to motivate and meet the needs of school-age children, divided into age and ability appropriate groups. The more advanced students in each group receive leadership opportunities and strengthen the musical experience for all. The training gained from continuous participation in the orchestra program culminates with membership in the Preucil School String Orchestra, which performs major string orchestra repertoire and tours internationally.
