The Johnson County Task Force on Aging is pleased to present a forum on elder abuse with Brian Kaskie, University of Iowa College of Public Health Associate Professor of Health Management and Policy. Dr. Kaskie shares information and perspectives from the report he co-authored with Leonard Sandler of the U of I College of Law titled The Elder Abuse Pathway in East Central Iowa. Dr. Kaskie speaks on the 7 types of abuse identified in the report that can affect Eastern Iowa's senior population and then review what public policy makers and program administrators have been done to address these challenges.
