The Mayor's Monthly Notable Non-profit is United Way, and Regenia and United Way CEO Christine Scheetz discuss the Volunteer Project.

In the 2nd program of our series on life in Iowa City, Iowa City Mayor Regenia Bailey and host Katie Roche speak with Mark Ginsberg of Summer of the Arts and Beth Bewley of the Englert Theatre about summer arts and culture. Katie also takes to the field to discuss Public Art with City of Iowa City employee Marcia Klingaman and visits with Ron Clark of Riverside Theatre about the yearly Shakespeare Festival. The Mayors Monthly Notable Non-profit is Arts Iowa City, where we will meet Cody Geiselman, the artist behind an interactive art installation called 'Boys and Girls, by number'.

In the first episode of At Home in Iowa City, Mayor Bailey and co-host Katie Roche take on the subject of biking in Iowa City. Guest Kris Ackerson of the Johnson County Council of Governments will talk about how Iowa City and surrounding areas are coordinating bike trails and other amenities to make our community bike friendly. Officer Hewlett will talk about bike safety and local biking advocate Greg Johnson will share tips on how to become a bike commuter.
